Major Headache
Literally.
Seriously, apparently, migraines and headaches are common pregnancy symptoms, but... but.... how on earth do you all cope with this??
It's probably my own fault as I was humble-bragging the other day about having a relatively easy ride during the first trimester, so karma has come back to kick me.
I was in work (retail, and especially busy during the back-to-school period!) and had a bit of a muzzy head during the morning, so I popped to the chemist to pick up some 4Head, as I figured that would be safe since I'm not ingesting anything, and it says on the leaflet that it's safe to use during pregnancy, but an hour or so later I had to go back and ask if there was anything *anything* else that they could give me. They're a natural/herbal place as well, so she recommended an aromatherapy oil to roll on pulse points, which contained lavender, peppermint and clove, and did smell divine although by this point I was having difficulty moving!
The girls I work with were brilliant and let me just sit in the back and try not to throw up (failed, twice), bringing me cold towels and water when I couldn't move. Seriously I was in so much pain I had to sit on the floor for a while as even being in a chair was too much effort!
So, how in the name of all that is holy do you ladies cope with that? Especially when you're supposed to be functional and/or can't get to a sensory deprivation tank or at least a dark room?! Because I'm honestly really scared to go through that again...
